He is survived by: his wife Gwen Black; his children, Darryl Black (Carolyn), Vicki Black and Kevin Black (Jen); his grandchildren, Trey Black, Joel Black and Anna Black; his siblings, Faith Wilnechenko (Harry), Dwain Black (Diane) and Rod Black Neal (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Bill MacGillivray (Bonnie), Joy MacGillivray, Ruth MacGillivray and Barb MacGillivray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Westlock Gospel Chapel (10227 97 St, Westlock, AB T7P2H1).
