He was predeceased by: his sons, Ronald and Bernard; his parents, Edgar Blades and Bertha Blades; his parents-in-law, Walter and Stefania Zylinski; his sister Linda (Knud Pedersen); and his brother-in-law Bill Madson.
He is survived by: his wife Aileen Suchow of Bloomsbury, AB.; his children, Norman (Doreen), Jeff (Carrie) and Kathy Sargent (Lawry); and his sister Glo Madson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and their six spouses; seven great grandchildren.
