She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Dygdala and Anne Dygdala; and her siblings, Lucy Lambert and Casey Dygdala. She is survived by: her husband Tony; her children, Kyla (Michael) and Kyle (Pam); her stepgranddaughters, Taryn and Ari; and her brother Joe Dygdala (Genie).

At Joyce's request to not have a ceremony, memorial donations may be made in her name to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
