He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Josephine; his former wife Janina "Jean"; and his siblings, Mary, Vickie and Stanley.

He is survived by: his daughter Rita (John) of Westlock; his grandchildren, Robin (Krista) and Nancy (Conrad); his great grandchildren, Dylan and Evan; his wife Catherine; and his siblings, Helen (Morrie), Jean, Kathy (Darrell), Rosanne, Stacey (Ken) and Emil (Sofia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Due to the restrictions and safety measures associated with the current Covid-19 pandemic there will be no formal service.

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully accepts donations to Westlock Continuing Care or the charity of one's choice.
