John Robert Calliou Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Robert Calliou (Westlock, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy Calliou; his wife Doris; his siblings, Jane, Innes, Madeline, Doris and Ruby; and his parents, Archie Anne and Marie Anne.

He is survived by: his children, Cassie Calliou, Holly Calliou (Kelly), Madelaine Calliou (Daniel), Craig Cardinal (Phyllis) and Henry Cardinal (Celia); his grandchildren, Sedrick Duffey-Calliou, Wendi Arnston (Chris), Destiny Lafleche, Xan Ecker (Amber), Jazzlynn Courteoreille, Lance Courteoreille, Patrick Calliou (Kyla), Danielle Irwin and Jonathan Irwin; his great grandchildren, Brooke Duffey, Elizabeth Arnston, Linken Arnston and Tarlo Ecker; and his siblings, Howard Calliou and Bertha Schadeck.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alexander Community Hall.
