He was predeceased by: his daughter Marie Vansevenandt; his son-in-law Roger Van Hecke; his parents, Valentine Lutz and Sophia Lutz; and his siblings, Johnny, Christian, Valentine, Andrew, Anthony Lutz, Barbara Hesse, Mary Van Brabant and Agnes Lutz.
He is survived by: his children, Doreen Duchscher (Mervin), Judy Van Hecke, Jo-Anne Middleton (Ward), Danny Lutz, Kerry Vansevenandt (Mark), Wayne Lutz (Katherine), Michael Lutz (Daise) and Jackie Stitsen (Jody); his son-in-law Richard Vansevenandt; and his sisters-in-law, Annie Lutz and Anita Lutz-Ahronson (William). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
