We bid farewell to Ilene Mortensson (Westlock, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Ilene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Ilene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ilene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Egon; her brothers, Clifford and Noble; and her friend Bonnie. She is survived by: her great-niece Jennifer Bredo; her nephew Ian Brooks; and also Luke.
