Gordon Meakin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Meakin (Westlock, Alberta), who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon Meakin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warwick Meakin and Gladys Meakin; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Gillard, Clayton Thompson and Ralph Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Janice Piontkowski (Arnold), Wayne Meakin (Linda), Pam Gonnet (Peter), Wade Meakin (Sherry) and Norine Schuster (Ken); his siblings, Joan Gillard, Stuart Meakin (Lou) and Syd Meakin (Anna); and his siblings-in-law, Neil and Joyce Thompson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, &17 great-grandchildren.
