He is survived by: his close friend Debbie Boyd; his children, Murray Brost (Angie Turcot) and Shelley Iverson (Scott); his grandchildren, Cameron Brost, Dawson Brost, Chloe Brost and Victoria Brost; his siblings, Richard (Betty), George (Joan) and Kathy; and his sister-in-law Carol Brost.
