He was predeceased by: his son Kelly; his parents, Howard Brooks and Addie Brooks; his siblings, Hazel Humm, Robert Ivan Brooks and Arnold Brooks; and his son-in-law Darren McKenzie.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Dennis (Bernice), Glenn, Elmer Victor James, Darlene, Sharon (Dan), Shirley (Gord), Marlene (Marcel), Debbie and Brenda (Dave). He is also survived by his children, stepchildren, many grand children.
