Eleanor Doreen Rice Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Doreen Rice (Westlock, Alberta), who passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Douglas Rice; her brothers, Don (Linda) and Doug McFadden (Helen) of Weyburn, SK; and her siblings-in-law, Barry Jeffery (Muriel) of Ottawa, ON and Helen Marlatt (Lyle).
She is survived by: her children, Dianne, Donna (Larry), Helen (Doug), Brenda, Shelley and Robert; her sister Margaret Zaborowski; and her sisters-in-law, Linda McFadden of Weyburn, SK and Muriel Jeffery of Ottawa, ON. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mom's wishes were to be cremated and in lieu of flowers she requested memorial donations to be made to: Parkinson Association of Alberta, 120, 6835 Railway St SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2V6.
