He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; his parents, Grace DeWolfe Bentley and Arthur Bentley; and his sisters, Allison Sumner, Mary Stibbards and Shirley MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Carol), Jennifer Elliott (Mike) and Carolyn Reid (Jay); and his grandchildren, Cale Bentley, Jase Bentley, Lauren Elliott, Matthew Elliott, Afton, Paris and Eden Reid.
