She was predeceased by: her grandmother Anita Marie Begieneman; her parents, David Bullock and Elizabeth Schneidt; her stepfather Vaughn Taylor; her husband Marinus Begieneman; her son Si Peterson; her siblings, Eltie Helgerson and Douglas Bullock; her stepbrother Milton Taylor; her granddaughter Sarah Watt; and her great grandchild Dagan Eakett.

She is survived by: her stepbrother Ken Taylor; her children, Lori Eakett (Brian), David Peterson (Kimberle), Leigh Ann Watt (Eric), Benjamin Peterson (Rachel) and Barbara Steele (Richard); her stepdaughters, Kathleen Carter (Larry), Leslie Swan, Renee O'Dell and Monique Roberts (David); and her stepgrandson Kent Richardson (Tamia). She is also survived by her 36 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and her many bonus children and grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (30 Everstone Blvd SW, Calgary, AB T2Y4S5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Hill Cemetery Rural Raymond. A reception was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (221 North 400 West, Raymond, AB T0K2S0).
