He was predeceased by: his parents, Tauno and Helen; and his nephew Cory. He is survived by: his wife Emily; his sons, Jason (Bonnie), Rod (Melanie), Chad (Jessica) and Ryan (Farrah); his grandchildren, Dylan, Kameron, Gavin, Carter, Sawyer, Raelynn, Alyssa, Kaden, Cohen and Makenna; his brother Reynard (Joyce); and his nephew Todd. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
