Irene Schafer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Schafer (Warburg, Alberta), who passed away on June 25, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Schafer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andreas Knopp and Christina Knopp; her brothers, Alexander, Reinhold, Rudolf, Fred, Edwin, John, Herb and Emil Knopp; her parents-in-law, George Schafer and Anastasia Schafer; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Schafer, Larry Tremblay, Budd Glenn, Valentine Urlacher, Mark Schafer, Helen, Alice, Ida, Myrtle, Ruth Knopp, Shelley Schafer and Marilyn Glenn.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Schafer; her son Randy Comm (Henriette); her grandson Steven Comm; her brother Elmer Knopp; and her siblings-in-law, Basil Schafer (Deb), John Schafer (Gail), Jerome Schafer (Linda), Dennis Schafer (Susan), Tony Schafer (Cheryl), Erna, Arlene Knopp, Kathy Renaud (Mario), Dorothy Vig (Adrian), Audrey Lightbown (Ted) and Marjorie Tremblay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
