It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Ivan Powell of Wainwright, Alberta, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Jane Powell; and his siblings, Orville, Chess, Evelyn and Gladys.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Gail, Gregg (Toni) and Trevor (Connie); and his grandchildren, Clay, Tanya, Rochelle, Carla, Kayla, Sean and Lisa. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta NWT.
