Wilja Wilkinson Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wilja Wilkinson (Wainwright, Alberta), who passed away at the age of 74, on April 17, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard and Margaret; her stepfather James MacDonald; and her brother-in-law Jim Cheeseman. She is survived by: her husband Jerry of Wainwright; her children, Michael Wilkinson and Bellinda Kennedy (Travis); her grandchildren, Mackenzie of Wainwright and Cole Kennedy of Wainwright; her sisters, Margaret Cheeseman (Dene Noble) of Calgary and Rita Jud (Hansi) of Fieberbrunn, Austria; her sisters-in-law, Ann Brawn, Barbara Berg (Wes), Dale Wilkinson (Joan) and Linda VanDelden (Ed); and also, Nancy Schmaus (Frank), Ryan Cameron and Wes Cameron (Natasha). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29 or to the Battle River Historical Society.
