He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella and James William Gordon Sr.; his stepmother Ada Gordon; his siblings, Jennie Richardson (Clarke), William, Edward, George, James and Samuel; his nieces, Ardis Colombe and Joan Hall; and his nephew Bill Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Merle; his children, Garry of Lloydminster, AB, Patricia Bolger (Bernard) of Ajax, ON and Haldon Gordon (Brenda) of Chauvin, AB; his grandchildren, Jason Gordon (Teresa) of Southview, AB, Kade Bolger (Lindy) of Whitby, ON and Jodie Gawron (Garth) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; and his great grandchildren, Dillon, Logan, Bryton, Austin, Jayna and Jacob Gawron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
