He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Bowtell; his parents, Frederick Bowtell and Freda Bowtell; and his brother Marvin Bowtell. He is survived by: his children, Darcie Gibb (Dale) of Chauvin, Cody Bowtell (Danielle) of Kelowna and Chad Bowtell (Amber) of Wainwright; his grandchildren, Delaney Gibb, Dayton Gibb, Monica Bowtell, Draidyn Gibb, Denna Gibb, Braxton Bowtell, Madison Bowtell and Benjamin Bowtell; his sisters, Janice Penman and Joan Bentt; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Humphreys and Adeline Schleppe (Frank). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
