He was predeceased by: his daughter Linda; his parents, John and Mary; and his brothers, George and Fred.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughter Denise; his grandchildren, Jess, Marc Petasky (Debbie) and Michael Petasky (Tanya); his great grandchildren, Gregory, Amber, Tristan, Ethan and Katie; and his sister Rosalind Beach.
John's family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wainwright Wildlife Society as John loved all things outdoors.
