She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McGowan and Blanche McGowan. She is survived by: her husband Donavin Parsons; her children, Leroy Parsons, Julie Bailey (Mark Carter) and Coreen Farrell (Ian); her grandchildren, Matthew, Allee, Scarlet and Ryatt; and her siblings, Bernard McGowan (Laura), Frank McGowan (Anita), Ivy Compo (Dennis) and Georgia Sjolie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
