He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hjelmeland and Jean Hjelmeland of Chauvin. He is survived by: his brother Lenny Hjelmeland of Edmonton, Alberta; his sister-in-law Susan; his nephews, Ray Hjelmeland (Ceilidh) and David Hjelmeland; and his aunts, Joyce Rasmussen, Elsie MacKay, Annalise Langstaff and Carole Swanky. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family and dear friends.

If so desired, memorial contributions made in Clinton's name are gratefully accepted to the Royal Canadian Legion, Worthington Branch #29.
