He was predeceased by: his sister Colleen McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Shera; his sons, Quentin and Colton; his parents, John and Margie; his brother Marvin (Dorothy); his parents-in-law, Lyle and Cindy Martens; and his brothers-in-law, Scott Martens (Kim) and James Martens. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund that has been set up at the CIBC Athabasca for Johnny's boys.
