Dennis Wanchuk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Wanchuk of Vilna, Alberta, born in Boyne Lake, Alberta, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wanchuk and Mary Wanchuk; his sisters, Patsy Robinson (Ken), Vivian Davie and Joanne Trieber; and his niece Becky Burgess.

He is survived by: his wife Lenny; his children, Tracy McKay (Robert), Candace Downham (Trevor) and Darren Wanchuk (Amber); his grandchildren, Dakota Downham (Lindsey), Anika Downham and Leyland Downham; his great grandchild Colson Downham; his siblings, Rick (Joan), Carolyn Kwiatkowski (Kenny), Larry (Anna), Dwayne (Karen), Robert (Karen), Roberta Etherington (Dwight), Terri Yaceyko (Terry), Bonnie Steffen (Faron), Tony Wanchuk (Sharon) and Garry Wanchuk; and his brother-in-law Wilbur Davie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces.
