Douglas Blair Hogstead Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, Douglas Blair Hogstead of Viking, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy; his sons, Dylan and Dayne (Cayla); his mother Norma; his siblings, Sylvia (Donnie), Lorne (Lisa), Cliff (Alana) and Sandra (Jim); his mother-in-law Connie Fornal; his siblings-in-law, Dianne Fornal and Dean Fornal; his father Alfred; his father-in-law Louie Fornal; and his niece Cindy Safranka. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and great friends.

A private service will be held with immediate family and close friends due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In memory of Doug donations can be made to the University of Alberta Hospital or the Viking Health Foundation.
