It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Brostrom of Viking, Alberta, who passed away on March 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Grace, Margaret Winfield, Stuart Daniel (Kay) and Ian Daniel; and her son Rick Hopfe.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Hansen (Rick), Judy Andreson (Ken) and Pat Quinlan (Todd); her sister-in-law Gwen Daniel; and her grandchildren, David (Dana), Dean (Jen), Shelli (Jay), Joanne (Chris), Tyler, Brett (Carly), Danielle (Chris), Crystal (Tom), Jillian (Keiron), Jaclynn (Tanner), Ricky (Jessica) and Alyzza (Jason). She is also survived by her 17 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alta-Vi Memorial Society (Box 780, Viking, Alberta, T0B 4N0, or a charity of one's choice).
