He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Carter and Annie Carter; his niece Julie Ann Merko; and his nephew Todd Carter. He is survived by: his spouse Judy Carter; his children, Angela Irvine (Scott) and Adam Carter (Martina); his grandchildren, Benjamin Irvine, Alexander Irvine and Christian Ruston; and his siblings, Douglas Carter (Patricia), Fredrick Carter (Cheryl), Elizabeth Ann Taylor (Gerald) and Debbie Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
