He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse and Monica; his grandson Liam Brown; his brother Bernie Bardoel; his brother-in-law James Bodurka; and his niece Julie Bardoel.

He is survived by: his children, Erinn Baldwin (Duane) of Vermilion, Shawn Bardoel of Vermilion, Danielle Brown (Murray) of Vermilion and Brad Bardoel (Heidi) of Vermilion; his grandchildren, Braden, Josh, Kaitlyn Baldwin, Layla and Luke Brown; his great grandchild Marie Bardoel of Vermilion; his siblings, John Bardoel, Larry Bardoel (Cecily), Melvin Bardoel (Debbie), Joan Kaziechko (Allan) and Shirley Bodurka; and his sister-in-law Iris Bardoel.
