He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Smart and Annie Smart; and his sister-in-law Jean Smart. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Smart of Vermilion; his daughters, Angela Bryden (Neal) of Vermilion and Sandra Stone (Glen) of Vermilion; his grandsons, Clay Bryden, Ty Bryden and Lincoln Stone; and his brothers, John Smart of Red Deer, AB, Edward Smart (Leone) of Salmon Arm, BC and Numerous.
