We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2020, at the age of 94, Mike Hynek of Vermilion, Alberta passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mike Hynek to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Second (Tillie); and his siblings, Lenora, Sophie, Stella, Mary and John.

He is survived by: his children, Conrad Hynek (Yvonne) of Vermilion, Donna Smith (Tony) of Stony Plain and Greg Hynek of Lloydminster; and also, Darvin (Marlene), Ernie (Jackie) and Judy Archie-Symes (Brad). He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

If so desired donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or charity of donors' choice.
