She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Maik; her sons, Gary Maik and Leslie Maik; her son-in-law Reg Paisley; and her brothers, Danny Polowy and Walter Polowy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Fossen (Dwayne) and Jeanette Pottle (Perry); her grandchildren, Vaughan Paisley (Bonita), Chris Paisley, Justin Maik (Leslie), Derek Maik (Michelle), Jared Pottle, Megan Letawsky (Drew) and Devon Pottle; her stepgrandchildren, Troy Fossen (Andrea) and Laurie Fossen; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Hayley, Jarret, Ryker, Sophie, Liam, Racheal and Brooke; her siblings, Ed Polowy (Caroline), Jean Holden (Keith), Nancy Klutz (John) and Olga Dahoy (John); and her daughter-in-law Lois Smith.

Memorial donations may be made to the Clandonald Cemetery Fund, Vermilion Hospital (Long Term Care) or charity of choice.
