She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest McDonald; and her daughter Brenda Diane Rublee. She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Gill (Warren) and Colleen Leighton (Ken); her grandchildren, Wendy Gill, Kelly Gill, Greg Gill (Tracy), Robyn Newstead and Mark Hougham (Kelsey Brazeau); her stepgrandsons, Chris Leighton (Carmen) and Trevor Leighton (Jen); and her great grandchildren, Kamryn Biensch, Kadence Biensch, Tyson Gill, Ace Newstead, Rhett Hougham, Sam Leighton, Maddison Leighton, Sarah Leighton and Emma Leighton.

Donations in memory of Lorna may be made to the Vermilion Continuing Care Centre Patient Comfort Fund.
