John Gregory Savoy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gregory Savoy of Vermilion, Alberta, who passed away on August 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Savoy (Newbatt) and Robert Savoy; his stepfather Gaius Hutchison; and his father-in-law Henry Schick. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Schick; his children, Joshua Savoy (Angie), Jordan Savoy, Jannah Smith (Eric), Jennifer and Darcy Mannix; his grandchildren, Viola, Brennan, Gregory Savoy (GG), Archie Smith, William, Austin, Marshall, Braiden, Jordan, Nicholas and Jackson Mannix; his siblings, Rob (Aurora), Michael (Linda), Joe (Marguerite), Mark (Adrienne) and Betty Kennah (Jeff); his aunt Betty Newbatt; his brothers-in-law, Mark, Darryl (Myrna) and Bradley Schick (Jill); his mother-in-law Sherran Schick; and his niece Leslie Simpson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins; and good friends.
