She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John Ford; her husband Gordon Edmund Nielsen; her children, Valerie Low, John Nielsen (Leslie Sutherland), Terry Nielsen, Beverly Nielsen and Christina Nielsen-Hunter (Steve Hunter); her grandchildren, Cailean Low (Rachael), Gavin Low (Jacqueline), Amber Sylvestre (Kevin), Roy Nielsen, Jordan Curr (Vikki), Steve Curr (Bella), Rebecca Donnell (Jeff), Megan Gravel (Jacob Kelling), Derek Gravel, Jake Gravel (Ashley) and Angelique Hunter; her great grandchildren, Chaz, Trinity, Luna, Cohen, Lydia, Avah, Alecks, Keaton, William and Elsie; her brother-in-law Ken Nielsen (Thelma); her siblings, John (Joan) and Octavia (Norman Nielsen); her nephews, Laurie Nielsen and Jim Nielsen; her parents-in-law, Hans, Phyllis Nielsen (Mclennan) and Ste; her mother Kathleen Nielsen (Stephens); and her sister-in-law Laura (Earl Pollard). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews.
