He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Derksen and Mary Derksen; and his sister-in-law Shirley Derksen. He is survived by: his wife Agnes; and his children, Mathew (Jennifer), Joseph and Theresa (Darren Stoltz). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Vermilion Seniors Centre (5324 50 Ave, Vermilion, AB T9X1V2).
