He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Rudyk and Bella Rudyk. He is survived by: his wife Donna Rudyk; his children, Simon Black (Melissa), Adam Black (Kendra), Morgan Rowe (Melissa) and Monica Rowe; his grandchildren, Madeline, Ben, Daylyn, Riley, Daniel and Mattheus; and his siblings, Henry Rudyk (Barb) and Lenore Miller (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Friends of Vermilion Health Centre (Long Term Care) or charity of choice.
