The memory of Vidette Keast of Vegreville, Alberta, who passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her daughter Cheryl Charuk; her husband Art Vaillancourt; her parents, Vernon Keast and Annette Keast; and her siblings, Violet Craig, Valorie Mamela and Jerry Keast.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Cymbaluk (Ken Kleefman) and Donna (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ariel Cymbaluk (Kendal Morrow), Reann Cymbaluk (Niko Fernandes), Hayley Cymbaluk (Tristan Mentore), Matthew Melenka (Shaylene), Kaitlyn Melenka (Dylan Schultz) and Alysha Melenka (Dylan Hennig); her siblings, Verna Powley (Larry) of Edmonton, Vannette Keast (Blaine Michalsky) of Red Deer, Jackie Lunder (Ken Pierson) of Keoma and Vernon Keast (Kassandra) of Mundare; and her brothers-in-law, Stan Mamela of West Bank, BC and Martin Craig of Edmonton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Vidette to Prairie Tails Animal Rescue Society, Vegreville or Akasu Palliative Care, Vegreville.
