He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Koban and Annie Koban; his siblings, Danny (Marie), Marshall, Betty Phillips (Don), Kathleen Fridel (Joe), Margie Palmer (Tom) and Millie Zezzo (Chris); and his sister-in-law Joan Koban.
He is survived by: his brother Ernie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the "Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation" or to the " Alberta Kidney Foundation.".
