He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon and Bertha. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his daughter Heather; his granddaughter Natalie; his son Daniel (Dawnne); his grandchild Attila; his son Shawn (Taylor); his grandson Jack; and his siblings, Tammy, Carmen (Brad), Janelle (Bobby), Derek (Karey) and Grant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.".
