He was predeceased by: his wife Vera; his parents, Mike Kit and Nettie Kit; and his siblings, John Kit (Jennie), Annie Semeniuk (Harry), Mary Babysh (Mike), Jennie Gizowski (John), Helen Grabas (Peter), Julia Pankiw (Peter) and Peter Kit (Mary). He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
