He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Labrie and Helen Labrie; his brother Ken; his brother-in-law Roger Belland; and his son-in-law Dennis Schwitz.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Richard (Christine), Ryan (Jodi), Darlene Smereka (Gordon) and Sandra Labrie (Randal); his stepsons, Chuck Girard and Chris Girard (Candi); and his siblings, Lorraine Belland and Brian Labrie (Germaine). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister & their spouses; numerous nieces & nephews.

Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to: Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 51 Street, St. Paul AB T0A 3A1.
