It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Garred of Vegreville, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 100, on December 15, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Jennie; his wife Mary; his children, Colleen and Gary; his grandson Ronald Perepeletza; his parents, William Garred and Amelia Garred; his brother Laverne Garred (Katie); and his son-in-law Don Everall.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Tychkowsky (Lawrence), Allan Garred (Rita), Laura Zabrick (Jim), Susan (John Kastelen), Joanne Perepeletza (Eugene), Karen Everall (Blair Hallett) and Audrey Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Frances Schlag. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In complying with Alberta's Restriction Exemption Program, you will be required to provide proof of Vaccinations upon entry to the service: Alberta vaccine records with QR codes (paper or digital) or proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 72 hours of entry, or an original medical exemption letter along with photo ID.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vegreville Sunshine Club.
