He is survived by: his wife Susan (Scherba); his daughter Candice Welsh (Sean); his grandchildren, Jax and Lexi; his daughter Melanie Heit (Ryan); his grandchildren, Paisley and Callan; his son Paul Sawatzky (Megan); his grandchildren, Sienna, Dawson, Harper and Hallie; his son Kyle O'Brien; his brother George Sawatzky (Darlene, family: Chad Sawatzky); his nieces and nephews, Teo, Tre and Mitchell Sawatzky (Candace); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie and Elliot; his sister Shirley Renning; his niece Tabatha; his nephew Marcus; his parents-in-law, Paul and Olga Scherba; his sister-in-law Elaine Poliakiwski (Jim); his niece Julie Nasby (Aaron); his nephew Trevor (Mandy); his brother-in-law Allan Scherba (Debbie); his nephews, Daniel and Derek; his sister-in-law Arlene Cherniawsky (Don); his nephew Colin; his nieces, Jaclyn (Andrew) and Stephanie Senger (Dean); and his great-nephew Joel. He is also survived by grandfather to his eight grandchildren.
