He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Horn and Juliane Horn; his grandsons, Lange Machney, Darrel Shane and Carmen Wanechko; and his half-brother Lorn.

He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Sharen Machney (Gary), Deborah Horn, Bonnie Armstrong (Kim), Laurette Saik (Ron), Darrel Wanechko, Orville Wanechko, Calvin Wanechko and Randy Wanechko (Juziel); his grandson Jason (Charity); his great grandchildren, Corey, Lochren, Ross, Scott (Jocelyn) and Darren (Brenda); his half-sisters, Gerri and Elaine; his pet Kitten; and also, Autumn, Fernado, Dominic, Alexia, Chantel (Shane), Ty, Mia, Cory (Melanie), Dawson, Hunter, Athenia, Lily, Calvin, Randy Gizzel, Ashley, Emily (Matt) and Simon.
