It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna Cornelia Hermary of Vauxhall, Alberta, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dungen and Maria Vanden Dungen; and her siblings, Harry, Kay, Ricky and Betsie.

She is survived by: her spouse Mathieu Jozef Amendt; her son Wesley; her friend Bob Geelen; her siblings, Wilma Heal, Peter Vanden Dungen (Fenny), Gerald Vanden Dungen (Theresa), Jake Vanden Dungen (Simone), Frank Dungen (Ellen) and Joseph Dungen (Patricia); her children, Wes Amendt (Lynda), Sandra Hall (Scott), Dave Amendt (Pam) and Stan Vanden Broek; her grandchildren, Nick, Haley Amendt, Colin Amendt (Danielle), Jessica Ames (Landen), Brendan Amendt, Emily (Eric), Dylan and Jake Vanden Broek; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Amendt, Dawson, Brownwyn and Tanner Ames. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
