He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Loewen and Helen Loewen; and his sister Eleanor. He is survived by: his wife Verna Mertz; and his sons, Greg (Susan), Kelly (Carol) and Todd (Teena). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
