John Vanderknaap Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Vanderknaap of Valleyview, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Vanderknaap and Teuntje Vanderknaap; and his siblings, Arendje and Teunis. He is survived by: his sisters, Gerritje, Wilhelmina Hendrika (Mieke) and Everdina Margrietha (Oscar Patton); his children, Joan Tuttle (Dean Tuttle), Julie Kohls and Ryan Vanderknaap; and his grandchildren, Lauren Tuttle, Matthaeus Kohls, Jenna Tuttle and Rebekkah Kohls.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Memorial Hall (4808 50 St, Valleyview, AB T0H3N0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to World Vision, or the Canadian Lung Association.
