With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annette Blanchette of Valleyview, Alberta, born in Lafond, Alberta, who passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henri-Paul Blanchette; her parents, Joseph Lafrance and Marie Lafrance; her siblings, Léo-Paul Lafrance, Luc Lafrance, Henri Lafrance, Gertrude Tremblay, Yvette Tremblay, Sr., Ida Lafrance and Thérèse Lavoie; her parents-in-law, Napoléon Tremblay, Antoine Tremblay, Xavier Lavoie, Eugene Joly, Bertin Limoges, Glen Smathers, Armand Boisvert, Madelaine Lafrance (Dumaine), Marie Lafrance (Fontaine) and Simone Limoges Smathers (Blanchette); her son-in-law Michel Lavoie; and her grandsons, Robert Blanchette, Stephan Blanchette and Normand Blanchette.
She is survived by: her siblings, Denise Joly, Robert Lafrance and Albert Lafrance (Renée); her parents-in-law, Dolores Blanchette, Rollande Boisvert and Gérard Blanchette (Angèle); and her children, Maurice Blanchette (Nicole), Albert Blanchette (Donna), Pauline Lavoie, Rene Blanchette (Diane), Camille Blanchette (Dolores), Doris Aubin (Clement Jr.) and Roger Blanchette (Angela). She is also survived by 25 grand-children and 33 great grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Notre-Dame de Lourdes Parish (PO Box 159, Girouxville, Alberta, T0H 1S0) as expression of sympathy.
