He was predeceased by: his son Theodore; his parents, Harry and Eva; his brother Art (Emily); his nephew Gary; and his brother-in-law Bill Melnyk.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Marc (Anita), Michael (Denise), Marshall (Lisa), Margaret Michaelchuk (Jeff) and Matthew (Candace); his grandchildren, Meghan (Justin), Chad (Ashley), Darcie-Lynn, Wade (Rebecca), Travis, Olivia and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Kash, Addyson and Harlynn; and his sister Ann Melnyk. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Kidney Foundation of Northern Alberta and NWT" or "Alberta Diabetes Foundation.".
