He was predeceased by: his son-in-law John Mihalcheon; his parents, Harry Krawchuk and Sophie Krawchuk; and his siblings, Nick (Lillian), Annie Cymbaluk (Tom) and Olga Hawaleshka (Nick).

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Betty Mihalcheon; his grandson Robert (Mackenzie); and his great grandchildren, Christopher and Samantha. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
